Route one: IBO Player Pro
- 1.Open the Roku Channel Store, search for IBO Player Pro and add it.
- 2.Launch it and open the Account screen. Note the MAC address and Device Key it shows.
- 3.On a phone or laptop, go to iboproapp.com, open Manage Playlists, and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
- 4.Choose Add XC Playlist, give it any name, and enter the server, username and password from your order.
- 5.Back on the Roku, close and reopen the app and choose the playlist you just added.
Worth knowing. IBO Player Pro is free for a week. After that it is a single payment on iboproapp.com against the same MAC address and Device Key. The 12-month plan includes a year of it.
Route two: cast from your phone
- 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android phone or an iPhone.
- 2.Open its menu, choose IPTV, and add the playlist address from your order.
- 3.Tap the cast icon and pick the Roku. The phone and the Roku need to be on the same Wi-Fi.
Roku decides which apps can exist on it, so the choice is narrow by design. Samsung and LG TVs are a touch more open, and a Firestick runs every player we recommend. Check the full channel list before you set anything up.
